Primary Program 1996. This happened to fall on my 40th birthday so we celebrated with a cake!
When I mentioned this to my hubby he said, "Well, that will be easy!" I told him to tell what he thought I should write about since I couldn't think of a thing. So, he reminded me of all the girls (and a few boys) I have taught and worked with at church. Hundreds of girls starting in 1978 until this very year. Every year I have been involved with the youth. Girls who are now approaching 50 down in age to girls who will be turning 10 this year.

I have been their teacher, their friend, their camping buddy and their spiritual leader. Hopefully, somewhere along the way, I have taught them something important. I hope they know that they are important and have added so much to my life. Mostly, I just hope they know they have a Savior who gave His life for them. That they have a loving Heavenly Father who knows and loves them. Hopefully, that is what they will remember and that I love them.

Oh Marrdy, that is beautiful! You have been so faithful! It is so tempting to become "bored" with doing the same thing for too long--but you can see how your investment has paid off. What a lot of lives you've inspired! I'm so glad you didn't give up on getting this posted. Thank you!
I'm dying to know who is in the primary pic....I can't get it big enough. So cool to have big group pics like that.
Once again, you still need to come back and be camp director here. No one will ever live up to your camps.
I really loved this. I'm sure that the love you showered upon these primary children and yw has sown more good deeds than you can imagine! I still remember my YW advisors and primary teachers! :)

What fun memories you must have of all the Youth. My favorite callings have been Den leader for the Cubs and then YW presidency. I love those kids. My boys are heading off on missions now.

You know they will all remember you their entire lives. It's amazing how much impact we have on kids when we teach them! It's amazing how many kids you've taught over the years! AND YAY the Jazz finally win one...although it wasn't all that impressive of a win! I guess it was at least worth staying up until 1:30 in the morning....it's lousy being two hours behind lol
