Wordful Wednesday

Words really have not been my friend lately. I can find lots to think about but little to say. Thank goodness for Wordful Wednesday.

Here is a cute picture of my Mom and her only sibling Tom. I used to dream about being an only child but now that I am an adult (cough) I would miss my sisters. Everyone should have sisters (and sisters in law!)

This picture was taken about 1937 when my Mom was 4 years old and Tom was 3.

I love this picture. It shows how really innocent childhood could be and should be.

Check out the rest of the Wordful Wednesday entries at Seven Clown Circus.

Just an FYI, I have decided to try my hand at committing to a weekly post of my own so beginning this Sunday I will begin a feature called Sunday Sermons. I promise these will not be sermons. Even though we ALL have so many hard times in our lives we all have a lot to be thankful for. That is what I hope to spotlight with Sunday Sermons.

That is a great picture. Ah the good ole days. I love to look at my mom's pictures. Though we don't have any of her as a child, we have some in her teens. And I love to look at how the times have changed, and well simpler times. Have a great day!

That is so beautiful--the black and white nostalgia of it all!

I can't wait for Sunday. I'm sure you'll have some wonderful words.

That is a darling picture of your Mom! It's like one out of those little B&W kid ones I use to hang on my walls as a youth! Trust me girl, growing up I use to DIEHARD WISH to be an only child, but like you, now I appreciate and love my sisters - all 8 almost 9!

I cannot wait for Sunday Sermons. I love reading you so I know I will love what you share.

And yes, I did take the other blog down. I finally got my posts copied to my journal folder and just released it! I feel like I had more wit in that one. Oh well, will just have to find it again! ;o

How much do I love this picture?

SO MUCH!

Is it lovingly framed and displayed in your home? Scott tells me our house looks as if an 80 year old couple resides in it...because we have old family photos framed and displayed all over the joint. OUr heritage is important to me...seriously!
