Wordful Wednesday In Court

Don't have much time to post...have to show up for Jury Duty tomorrow morning. 8:30 SHARP. Don't be late! And don't bring your kids, your guns or your knives. But bring something to do. In other words I may be sitting around a lot tomorrow.

For Wordful Wednesday here is a shot of downtown Salt Lake.. which is where I will be.

See that building right in the middle down toward the bottom of the picture? That will be where I will spend the day. Visiting the Third District Court. I'm hoping it's just part of the day. Maybe I should take my gun. (If I had a gun!)

See other Wordful Wednesday entries at Angie's.

Good Luck Maardy! I hate jury duty but just one of those things we gotta do as good citizens, right? not! So how come we dread doing it! I hope it's not long and someone pleads out or something... I'll be thinking of you today! That is a beautiful pic - how do you get yours to download like that? Seriously, let me know your secret! ;p

I didn't mind jury duty, but I did spend a little more time than I wished I would have since I made it right down to the wire on jury selection and then was sent home. I'm sure you'll find something to do or someone to visit with. I bet they'll pick you.

That is one good thing about having a husband in Law Enforcement. They let me off because I may have some knowledge of the case. It's only been twice. The first one was against a Defending atty who was arrested for DUI. I knew that to be so true and knew I'd be let off for that one. His daughter and my oldest were friends. They were in kindergarten. You'd of thought he would have known better.

That's such a cool picture. I'm sorry you had jury duty!

Did you at least get a chance to read a good book or something?
